Belgica (5.0% abv) is a light amber beer that has a smooth malt base, gentle hop character and bags of flavour from the yeast. It boasts a gentle, toasty and nutty aroma from the malt, while the yeast brings an unmistakable spicy and fruity aroma to the beer with hints of pear drop and banana. This is the ideal pint to enjoy with some Springtime Roast Lamb.
Head Brewer, Sam Beaman, comments: “We are very excited to be launching the first of our new small batch beer range. This novel collection is a fantastic opportunity for us to combine our creativity and expertise to deliver some stunning new beers to compliment our award-winning ales. The first of these, Belgica, is a cracking traditional Belgian pale that sets the bar high.”
Belgica is available on our online shop. Case of 12x330ml cans £25. Belgica won gold at the 2022. SIBA awards.
Atlas (4.0% ABV) is a session IPA created from a winning combination of British, US and Australian hop varieties. The result is a fruity ale with flavours of peach, blueberry and papaya. These tropical notes are complemented by a hoppy citrus finish and balanced bitterness. It is the perfect pint to enjoy with an ocean view and the ideal accompaniment to BBQ food.
Head brewer Sam comments “Atlas is the second beer in our new small batch range. Our first, Belgica, won gold at the SIBA awards so the pressure is on to follow it with something just as outstanding. I am confident that we have hit the mark with Atlas and it will be a fantastic addition to our range of award-winning ales.”
Atlas is available on our online shop. Case of 12x330ml cans £24.
Maya (4.5% ABV) is a Chocolate Stout, created by adding cacao nibs during the brewing process. The caramel and coffee notes from the malt blend perfectly with the rich chocolate flavour from the cacao nibs, resulting in a smooth chocolate stout. It is a dark, warming beer ideal for these colder autumn nights. It pairs well with braised or spiced meats and rich autumnal stews, but is equally enjoyable on its own.
Head Brewer, Sam Beaman, comments: “We are very excited about this latest addition to our small batch range. For the ancient Maya people, the cacao bean was sacred. They were obsessed with its rich, chocolate taste and believed it was a gift from the gods. This was our inspiration for our new stout which we have infused with organic cacao nibs to add depth and complexity.”
